Adding a Part Codes Entry
Use this feature to add, edit, or delete part codes entries. A part codes entry can be associated with one or more claim types. This feature is available in , repairer, contract customers, and claim office profiles. The Part Codes feature is not available in insurance company profiles.
To add a Part Codes entry
- Select Configure > Profiles from the menu bar.
- Select the profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
- Click on the Part Codes link.
- Select Add from the Part Codes toolbar. The Part Codes screen opens.
- Make your selections, and enter information in the required fields for Code and Description.
- Select the Claim Type droplist, and then select one or more claim types to be associated with the part codes entry. Vehicle Claim Type is the default choice.
- Enter or select options in the remaining fields.
- Click OK.
- Click Save or Save and Close.
Note: Other options include Edit, Link, Delete, Print, and Print Preview.
